FAQs
How do I stop a customer from accessing a questionnaire?
You can change the sharing status on a questionnaire at any time including revoking access to a questionnaire that you have previously given a customer access to on the platform.
Background
You control your data on the platform, including which customers have access to which questionnaires.
Steps
To review who has access to a questionnaire and/or to remove access, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your SUPPLIERASSURANCE account.
- On your 'Dashboard', find the questionnaire that you want to review access for (use filters and search if needed).
- Select the questionnaire tile to go to the questionnaire overview page.
- Click on the 'Sharing' tab underneath the questionnaire tile to view which customers currently have access and any pending share requests.
- If you want to remove access for a customer, select the deny icon (marked as an 'X') on the right side of the sharing tile.
- Confirm your choice to deny the share when prompted (select 'Ok').
- Once actioned, the customer will no longer have access to the questionnaire.
Who can view my questionnaire answers after I submit them?
Only users within your own organization who have the 'Viewer' user permission (or higher) and any customers that you have shared the questionnaire response with can see your questionnaire response and results.
Background
Your questionnaire data is treated as confidential in accordance with the SUPPLIERASSURANCE platform terms. Access is controlled by you. Customers only see questionnaire responses and results that you share with them. User permissions determine which colleagues, within your organization account, can view or edit the data.
Steps
To review who has access to a questionnaire, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your SUPPLIERASSURANCE account.
- On your 'Dashboard', find the questionnaire that you want to review access for (use filters and search if needed).
- Select the questionnaire tile to go to the questionnaire overview page.
- Click on the 'Sharing' tab underneath the questionnaire tile to view which customers the questionnaire is currently shared with and any pending requests for sharing.
How can I share my completed questionnaire with a customer?
You can share using an invitation code provided by the customer for immediate sharing, or you can proactively request to share a completed questionnaire with a customer who must then approve the request.
Background
The SUPPLIERASSURANCE platform allows secure sharing of your questionnaire data. An invitation code links your data directly and instantly to your customer. Proactively requesting to share a questionnaire requires customer approval.

How can I find and review my outstanding minimum requirements?
Outstanding minimum requirements can be seen on the Overview page of your SAQ, and the specific details are located in the Answers tab.
Background
Buyers may define minimum requirements that must be met for compliance or visibility. The Overview page alerts you when these requirements are unmet, while the Answers tab shows which specific responses need attention.
Steps
- Sign in to your SUPPLIERASSURANCE account.
- Open your SAQ (Sustainability Assessment Questionnaire).
- Go to the Overview page to see whether any minimum requirements are outstanding.
- Navigate to the Answers tab.
- Review the highlighted questions that do not meet the buyer's minimum requirements.
- Update your responses where necessary and resubmit if applicable.
How can I delete a questionnaire I no longer need?
You can delete questionnaires from your organization account, but first, you must deny any existing access that is associated with the questionnaire.
Background
You control your data on the platform, including deleting questionnaires. However, to prevent accidentally removing access for customers you've already shared data with, you must first deny access to the data before deleting the questionnaire itself.
Steps
To delete a questionnaire, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your SUPPLIERASSURANCE account.
- On your 'Dashboard', find the questionnaire that you want to delete (use filters and search if needed).
- Select the questionnaire tile to go to the questionnaire overview page.
- Check the sharing status under the questionnaire rating on the questionnaire tile. If the questionnaire is not shared, select the delete icon on the right side of the questionnaire tile and press 'Ok' to delete it.
- If the questionnaire is shared, click on the 'Sharing' tab underneath the questionnaire tile and select the deny icon (marked as an 'X') for each customer with an accepted or requested share.
- Confirm your choice to deny the share when prompted (select 'Ok').
- Once all customer access has been denied, select the delete icon on the right side of the questionnaire tile above the 'Sharing' tab and press 'Ok' to delete the questionnaire.
My customer says they cannot see my questionnaire results, but I have shared it. What's wrong?
This can happen if your customer has not accepted your request to share your questionnaire or their access to it has expired.
Steps
You can ask your customer to check the access status of your questionnaire and if access has expired, they can renew access.
How do I share my questionnaire if I don't have an invitation code?
You can proactively share a questionnaire with a specific customer. They must accept your request.
Background
Your questionnaire answers are confidential. If you haven't received a direct invitation code from a customer but want to share your results with them, you can initiate the sharing process yourself. This sends a request to the customer, who must approve it before they can see your questionnaire data.
Steps
To proactively share your questionnaire without an invitation code:
- Sign in to your SUPPLIERASSURANCE account.
- Find the existing completed questionnaire (use filters and search if needed).
- Select the 'Share' icon on the questionnaire tile.
- Choose the option to 'Search for a buyer'.
- Search for or find the customer who made the request or who you want to share your questionnaire with.
- Select 'Share' (the customer will be alerted to accept your request).
Why is my questionnaire showing the status "REQUESTED"?
Your questionnaire displays the status "REQUESTED" when either a buyer has requested access to your questionnaire, or when minimum requirements set by a buyer have not yet been met.
Background
The "REQUESTED" status indicates that something is still pending - either an action needed from you (to meet requirements) or a pending request from a buyer. This status helps ensure suppliers remain aware of items that may affect visibility or approval.
How can I see which buyer requested access to my questionnaire?
You can view buyer access requests from the Sharing section of your completed questionnaire.
Background
The Sharing section shows all buyers who have access to your questionnaire or who have requested access. This provides transparency and helps you understand which buyers are engaging with your organization.
Steps
- Sign in to your SUPPLIERASSURANCE account.
- On your dashboard, open your completed questionnaire.
- Select the 'Sharing' section
- Review the list of buyers who have requested access or currently have access.
