Business Ethics training should include expectations of company policies and procedures. For a company to maintain their collective and trustworthy business conduct, training is needed to understand issues and responsibilities.
Training should be provided to help understand and manage the ethical risks faced by the company and to mitigate future risk. Regular training, sharing best practices and ethical concerns reinforces a company's commitment to ethical behaviour and compliance. Training could be role-specific (e.g. training for buyers, managers, employees, etc.), cover different topics (bribery, corruption, disclosure of information, conflict of interest) or cover different formats (e.g. coaching/mentoring, lectures, group discussion and activities, workshops, e-learning, courses, etc.).
