A Raw Materials Responsible Sourcing Policy outlines a company's action to ensure the sustainable supply of raw materials. Companies should be committed to avoiding sourcing raw materials from conflict affected and high risk areas, and uncertified practice of extractions. It may be a policy document from the parent company or headquarters rather than the individual location.


A raw material could be wood, rubber, minerals as gold, cobalt, metal as aluminium, steel, and etc., The sustainable sourcing of any raw materials can build strong, long-term relationships throughout the supply chain whilst improving social, environmental and ethical issues. A Raw Materials Responsible Sourcing Policy should reflect CSR/Sustainability issues including ethics, respect for human rights and the environment, when regarding raw material sourcing.


1. Go to your dashboard on SupplierAssurance
2. Find the questionnaire you have been working on by using the search functionality
3. Select 'Respond' and progress to reference 16a by selecting 'Next'
4. Select 'Yes' and select 'Choose File' and upload your Raw Materials Responsible Sourcing Policy
