Answer

A Working Conditions and Human Rights Management System ensures companies operate with dignity, fairness and respect. Regardless of the size of the company, or the nature of the work that is carried out, a management system provides a structured approach to fulfil goals and objectives. It is formed of policies, processes and controls, reviewed by management, to enhance training and monitor performance.

Background

For working conditions and human rights compliance, a management system could include procedures for child labour and young workers, wages and benefits, working hours, working conditions, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking, freedom of association and collective bargaining, harassment, and non-discrimination. ISO Management System Standards (MSS) help companies to manage their policies and procedures through a cycle of self-evaluation, correction and improvement of their operations.
