A Health and Safety Management System relates to the organised efforts in identifying workplace hazards, reducing accidents and minimising the exposure to harmful situations and substances. Regardless of the size of the company, or the nature of the work that is carried out, a management system provides a structured approach to fulfill goals and objectives. It is formed of policies, processes and controls, reviewed by management, to enhance training and monitor performance.


To comply with law, a Health and Safety Management System could include procedures for personal protective equipment, machine safety, emergency preparedness, incident and accident management, workplace ergonomic, handling of chemicals and fire protection. ISO Management System Standards (MSS) help companies to manage their policies and procedures through a cycle of self-evaluation, correction and improvement of operations.


1. Go to your dashboard on SupplierAssurance
2. Find the questionnaire you have been working on by using the search functionality
3. Select 'Respond' and progress to reference 8 by selecting 'Next'
4. Select 'Yes' and select 'Choose File' and upload your Health and Safety Policy Management System
