Answer

Select the answer option 'No' on question 16b within your SAQ 4.0 and you can complete your Conflict Minerals Sourcing Report. You will be able to upload your completed CMRT.

Background

The Conflict Minerals Assessment enables organisations to report information about their sourcing of 3TG - tin (cassiterite), tantalum (coltan), tungsten (wolframite) and gold. The Assessment is compliant with the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) and its Conflict Mineral Reporting Template (CMRT). If your organisation has already completed a CMRT you can upload it to quickly pre-populate your Assessment answers.

Steps

1. Go to your dashboard on SupplierAssurance
2. Select the SAQ 4.0 you want to link your CMRT Assessment to
3. 'Respond' to your SAQ and select "No" to reference 16b
4. Submit your SAQ 4.0 for validation and you will start your Conflict Minerals Sourcing Report
5. Upload your completed CMRT in a .xls/.xlsx template
6. When successfully uploaded, you will be presented with a message saying 'Your import has been completed'.
