Background

The Conflict Minerals Assessment enables organisations to report information about their sourcing of 3TG - tin (cassiterite), tantalum (coltan), tungsten (wolframite) and gold. The Assessment is compliant with the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) and its Conflict Mineral Reporting Template (CMRT). If your organisation has already completed a CMRT you can upload it to quickly pre-populate your Assessment answers.
Smelters is/are an installation or factory for smelting a metal from its ore.
If you have uploaded a completed CMRT, this page will only list the smelters that have been included within your uploaded CMRT and will provide you with the option of adding new smelters to the list.

Steps

1. Go to your dashboard on SupplierAssurance
2. 'Respond' to the CMRT Assessment
4. Progress to question 6 and add your smelters
5. Save and submit the assessment
