How do I respond to a Supplier Assurance Mapping request?

Everything is available on the Supplier Assurance platform. There are 3 steps in the process: confirm that the products that your customer says you supply them with are correct, download the list of products and provide component information, and then invite your suppliers to do the same.


Background

The Supplier Assurance Mapping Initiative is a global program started by key automotive OEMs who have partnered with the service provider NQC. Some organizations want to know more about their supply chains for key products to help them to manage continuity and prepare for possible future impacts that events may have that could disrupt their supply chains.

Steps

1. Confirm that the products that your customer says you supply them with are correct. You can view all the products and any that are incorrect, you can mark accordingly.

2. Download the .csv template of correct products and provide component product information i.e. information about the components that you buy which go into your products and the suppliers of these components.

3.  Invite your suppliers to confirm their components, and provide next tier data. NQC will do all the rest including making sure the data is correct and working with your suppliers to help them to confirm their data.
