What do I do if my supplier refuses to participate in the Supplier Assurance Mapping Initiative?

If one of your suppliers is not willing to participate in the initiative you can edit their commitment within the relevant product request on the Drafted tab. You can indicate the extent to which a supplier wants to participate by using the Edit commitment link.

The Supplier Assurance Mapping Initiative is a global program started by key automotive OEMs who have partnered with the service provider NQC. Some organizations want to know more about their supply chains for key products to help them to manage continuity and prepare for possible future impacts that events may have that could disrupt their supply chains.

More Information

You can set your suppliers to three types of commitment: full, partial and none.

Fully committed - Suppliers set as fully committed will be expected to confirm information about the products that they supply to you as well as provide information about the components that go into these products and who their suppliers are.

Partially committed - Suppliers set as partially committed will be expected to confirm information about the products that they supply to you.

No commitment - Suppliers set as no commitment will not be contacted by us in any way. (We still ask you to provide us with data on these suppliers so that it can be plotted on the map).
